Ingredients

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • flour - 1 1/2 cups
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • vanilla - 1 powder (0.2 g)
  • cherries - 9 oz (250 g) pitted
  • for the topping
  • butter - 1/4 cup
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • sugar - 4 tbsp (60 g)

How to make

In a bowl, mix the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir well. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder.

Add the egg mixture to the dry mixture and mix, until a smooth mixture is obtained. Roll the cherries in flour. Pour 1 tbsp. of the mixture into the muffin molds.

Place a few cherries in each one and cover them with another 1 tbsp. of the mixture. Mash the butter, flour and sugar with a fork or blender, until crumbs are obtained. Sprinkle them over the muffins.

Bake at 360°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes. Makes 24 small or 12 large muffins.
