  • cider - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) or homemade apple wine
  • lime - 1 - 2 pcs.
  • oil - 4 tbsp.

measures

How to make

Clean and wash the chicken. Rub it inside and out with the oil, rosemary, black pepper, paprika and salt.

Cut one citrus into circles and tuck them between the skin, the wings and inside the belly.

Place it in a baking pan and pour the cider or apple wine.

Wrap the chicken in aluminum foil and put in a preheated oven at 340°F (170°C) for 1 hour, then increase it to 370°F (190°C), remove the foil, spread it with butter and roast it for another 30 minutes, or until it has deliciously browned and become crispy.

Serve the roasted chicken with the delicious sauce from roasting it, which you can drizzle over each serving.

If desired, you can also pour a little freshly squeezed lime juice or add fresh citrus slices.

Enjoy your meal!
