How to make

Grind the onion and garlic in a blender along with the hot pepper. Fry them on low to moderate heat in oil with a pinch of salt for 4-5 minutes.

Peel the tomato and puree it along with the carrot with the help of a blender or a suitable appliance. Add them to the onion, along with the bay leaf and paprika. Add the legs and fry everything for another 4-5 minutes.

Pour the cider and cook, until the alcohol evaporates, then add the water, which has been preheated, so that the cooking process doesn't stop.

Add salt and black pepper and leave the stew to boil for 25 minutes. Water is added, if its level decreases a lot. During this time, peel and chop the potatoes and the apple. Choose the green apple variety, because it is sweet and sour and ideal for this dish, but another one can be used, it is not a problem.

After 25 minutes, add the potatoes and after 10 minutes the apple. Boil under a lid for another 10 minutes, or until the products have completely softened.

The chicken stew with apples and cider is served hot, sprinkled with parsley or chopped spring onion stalks.

It is extremely suitable for everyday or for a festive table. Very tasty and appetizing!
