Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 3 pcs. (medium - sized)
  • cucumbers - 1 pc.
  • green peppers - 1 pc.
  • marinated field mushrooms - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • chicken breast - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • ham - 2.8 oz (80 g)
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • white cheese feta - 2.82 oz (80 g)
  • parsley - 1 - 2 fresh stalks
  • spring onion - 2 stalks
  • oil - about 4 tbsp (60 g) or by taste
  • vinegar - optional
  • salt - by taste
  • eggs - 1 pc. (hard boiled / optional)
  • black olives - for decoration

How to make

The chicken meat is cooked and left to cool.

The vegetables are cleaned, washed and cut. The tomatoes and cucumbers are cut into large pieces, the onion into thin crescents, the pepper is diced and the mushrooms are sliced (if they are small, leave them whole).

The parsley is finely chopped or the leaves are shredded.

Cut the sausage and some of the yellow cheese into small cubes and the chicken into larger pieces.

All this is placed in a bowl and seasoned with oil, salt and vinegar (optional).

Transfer everything into a deep salad bowl or individual portions of the Shepherd's Salad and grate the white cheese, yellow cheese and boiled egg on top.

The Shepherd's Salad with Chicken is garnished with olives and it is served immediately.

If you're not serving it immediately, refrigerate it without flavoring it and do it just before serving.
