How to make
Put the eggs in a bowl, add the sugar and beat with a mixer, until a smooth cream is obtained.
Pour the oil in a thin stream to it.
Sift the flour with the baking powder, a pinch of salt and the vanilla.
Add them in portions to the egg cream. Add the grated carrots and chocolate drops. Homogenize the mixture.
Grease and flour a round cake pan.
Pour the mixture and level it out. Bake the carrot cake at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
Check it with a wooden skewer to see if it is fully baked.
Cool the finished carrot cake with chocolate drops on a wire rack and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
