  • corn flour - 3 oz (85 g)
  • white flour - 2.3 oz (65 g)
  • butter - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • sugar - 2.3 oz (65 g)
  • ground walnuts - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • lemon peel
  • salt - a pinch

How to make

In a large bowl, mix the white and corn flour. Add the baking powder, one egg, the butter (cut into pieces), the sugar and the ground walnuts.

Flavor with grated lemon peel. Knead a soft dough.

Form it into a ball, wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

In a plate, mix 1.1 oz (30 g) of ground walnuts and one tablespoon of corn flour.

Cut the cooled dough into small pieces, the size of a walnut. Form them into a balls and roll them in the ground walnuts.

Arrange the sweets on a large tray lined with baking paper, spaced apart.

Bake the corn flour sweets in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes.
