How to make

Depending on the season during which the rose lemonade is prepared, fresh or dried rose leaves are used. In my case, they are rose buds, which can be smaller than the described ones, as they are incredibly aromatic and only about 10 pcs. flavor the lemonade perfectly.

Prepare a decoction of them by putting them in boiling 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) of water for 3 minutes if they are dried and if they are fresh - until they discolor.

Cover the pot to steam them and leave it cool to around 140°F (60°C).

Strain and sweeten with honey.

Squeeze the juice from one lemon and cut the other into pieces along with the grapefruit.

Pour a sufficient amount of ice at the bottom of the jug. Add the citrus slices, lemon juice, rose decoction + more rose petals or buds, if you like.

Add the soda and then add the strawberry and raspberry fruit in the rose lemonade. I used dried ones, given the season, but you can use fresh ones, of course.

Stir and serve the refreshing aromatic drink with the enchanting scent and flavor of roses!
