How to make

Choose well-bloomed roses. Tear off the petals. Rub them with 7 oz (200 g) of sugar.

Pour 4/5 cup (200 ml) of water into a small pot, add the petals and sugar. Place the pot over moderate heat and boil, until the liquid turns into a thick syrup.

Remove it from the heat. Add a few drops of lemon juice. Leave the syrup with the petals to cool. After cooling, strain it by squeezing the pink petals well. Add the vodka to the syrup. Stir the liqueur well and pour it into a bottle.

Consume the homemade rose liqueur well chilled!
