How to make
Melt the butter. Add sugar, yogurt and an egg to it.
In a bowl, sift the flour with one teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt.
To the liquid mixture, add the dry mixture in portions, by stirring, until the products are homogenized. Flavor with the grated peel of one lemon.
Line a 11x7″ (28x18 cm) oblong baking pan with baking paper. Pour the prepared mixture.
Peel and cut apples into not very thin slices. Arrange them on top of the mixture and sprinkle with a tablespoon of brown sugar.
Bake the apple cake with yogurt at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes.
Cool the finished cake and sprinkle it with powdered sugar!
