How to make
Beat the soft butter with the sugar, until you a fluffy cream is obtained.
Add the eggs one at a time, while beating at all times.
Add the milk and yogurt with the dissolved soda in them (if you use baking powder, it is added at the end with the flour).
Add the bananas, which have been previously mashed. Mix well and finally add the flour, vanilla, cinnamon and crushed walnuts.
Homogenize the mixture without beating it with a mixer, but only by hand.
Pour it into a rectangular cake mold lined with parchment paper or greased and floured beforehand.
Flatten the surface of the sweet bread without pressing it too hard and arrange the walnut halves on top.
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C) and bake the aromatic banana cake for about 40 minutes or until it is fully baked.
Cool it on a wire rack and serve the wholegrain banana bread with walnuts with cream cheese, cream or a scoop of ice cream.
