"Incredible vegan bread - try and share the recipe with friends"

Ingredients

  • white flour - 11 oz (320 g)
  • oil - 2 tbsp.
  • salt - 2 tsp.
  • water - about 1 cup (220 ml)
measures

How to make

Put the flour in a bowl, pour the fat and add 1/2 of the water. Knead with your fingers.

Add another 1/2 of the water to knead the dough, which should be elastic. Therefore, the water is topped up in portions. I needed about 7.4 fl oz (220 ml) of water. The dough becomes soft and elastic and should not stick to your hands.

Wrap it in foil and leave it for about 10 minutes. After this time the dough is formed into an elongated and from it are torn off balls by hand - about 6 pcs.

Meanwhile, heat a skillet on medium heat. Out of the possible 9 degrees, I used between the 6th and 7th degree.

Each ball of dough is rolled out with a rolling pin on a little flour and as thin as a coin. Beat the flour off and place it in a hot and non greased pan.

Bake for about 30-40 seconds and turn immediately after nice bubbles have appeared. Remove it from the pan and if working with a gas hob, place it directly on low heat, so that it burns the dough and as a result, even bigger bubbles will appear.

Immediately remove it and the flat bread is spread with melted butter.

The Chapati Bread in a Non Greased Pan is ready.

Note: Extremely tasty bread. This flat bread can be used for anything, but I mostly like it lightly buttered. I made them in a big pan with a thick bottom. The flat bread is made very quickly and their time must be monitored, which is about 30-40 seconds on each side.

Wonderful bubbles appear and if you have a gas stove, the bubbles become even bigger and you should get a nice hollow core. I made them on a ceramic hob, because I don't have gas, but they turned out great.
