How to make
Wash the cherries and pit them.
Lay baking paper in a 30 cm diameter baking pan and turn on the oven to preheat to 360°F (180°C).
Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer, until a thick mixture is obtained for 7-10 minutes, add the milk, salt and flour along with baking powder.
Add the semolina and vanilla to the resulting mixture with a spoon.
Pour it into the baking pan and arrange the cleaned cherries and put pieces of butter in several places.
The fruit cake is baked, until it aquires a golden color or until it is fully baked. When it has cooled completely, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
The cherry fruit cake with semolina is ready.
