"Delicious and easy dessert with a crispy crust and fresh cherries"

Ingredients

  • cherries - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • lemon juice - the juice of 1/2 lemon
  • brown sugar - 3 tbsp. (with a tip)
  • flour - 1/2 cup
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp.
  • white sugar - 2 tbsp. (level top)
  • butter - 1.4 oz (40 g) (cold, cut into cubes)
  • vanilla
  • cinnamon - a pinch

How to make

Pit the cherries. Mix all of the dry ingredients with the butter, brown sugar and vanilla and knead with your hands, until crumbs start to form. Leave the butter crumbs in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, add the white sugar and lemon juice to the cherries.

Put the cherries in bowls and sprinkle them with crumbs on top.

Bake the crumble for about 30 minutes, until it has browned.

Serve the warm crumble with a ball of vanilla ice cream.
