How to make

Pour the sugar and honey into a small pot, which is placed on the stove and stirred, until it melts well (at least 5 minutes). If you want lighter candies you can do it only with white sugar, because with brown they become very dark.

When you have a smooth and homogeneous mixture, start gradually adding the butter and hot cream in several portions. Stir at all times and after 4-5 minutes you can check if the mixture has thickened enough.

Drop a bit on a spoon, wait for it to cool and if you like the consistency, remove it from the heat If it is not thick enough, leave it for another 2-3 minutes.

Pour it into a suitable container, baking pan or tray on which you have placed baking paper (the paper should be smeared with plenty of butter, so that the candy mixture does not stick).

Leave it to cool down and when it has cooled, but not completely cooled down and hardened, cut the candies in whatever shape you like.
