How to make
Put the sugar in a saucepan on the stove and melt it.
Remove it from the heat and pour the milk in it. Shake it and return it back onto the hob for seconds.
Remove it again, until the caramel melts and a thick caramel syrup is obtained. Set it aside.
Whip the cream with the condensed milk and vanilla into a fluffy cream.
Transfer it into a plastic bowl with a lid. Pour the caramel on top, but without stirring. They should not be mixed completely.
Close it up and leave the prepared milk ice cream in the freezer overnight.
Take it out and with the help of an ice cream scooper, shape the balls of homemade caramel ice cream.
Put them in a bowl and serve the ice cream.
