How to make
Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a deep bowl and add the turkey breasts. It is recommended to leave them for 12 hours, to absorb the flavours, but if you don't have that much time, you can marinate them for less (at least 2 hours).
Chop the onion finely and saute in butter and olive oil, until it softens, at medium heat.
Increase the heat and sear each side of the marinated meat for two minutes. Pour in the marinade sauce and reduce the heat.
Cover with a lid and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, turning the meat occasionally. If you believe the liquid is not enough add a little warm water, while cooking.
Once cooked, set the pan aside and allow it to rest for 10 minutes with the lid on.
Garnish with chopped parsley, lemon slices or cherry tomatoes.
You can also shred yellow cheese, or gruyere cheese while hot, allowing the cheese to melt.
Enjoy your meal!
