  • yogurt - 9 oz (250 g)
  • dry yeast - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • oil - 1 - 2 tbsp.
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • flour
  • oil - for frying

How to make

Dissolve the soda in the milk. Add salt, sugar, egg and oil.

Stir and add the yeast with the flour and knead, until a soft dough is obtained.

Leave the dough to rise in a warm place.

Divide the dough into balls.

Fry the mekitsi in heated oil. Serve them with homemade jam.
