How to make
Mix the yeast, sugar and 4 tbsp of warm water, and set aside for about 15 minutes.
Sift the two kinds of flour together with the salt.
Add the yeast to the sifted flour and pour in enough water to knead a hard dough. Allow the dough to rest. Divide the dough into two equal parts, and make two breads.
Sprinkle with flour and slash each top diagonally in both directions to create crosses along the surface of each bread.
Place each bread into a baking form, cover with a cloth and allow them to rest for 1.5 hours. Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C). Bake for about 40 minutes.
