Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the milk.
Caramelize the sugar, by pouring a teaspoon into each cup and place them on the stove.
The sugar the should not burn (become dark), because it will become bitter. Arrange the creme caramel cups in a deeper baking pan.
Distribute the mixture in each one, so that there's a finger distance from the edge.
Pour cold water into the baking pan and bake the classic creme caramel at 300°F (150°C) for an hour and twenty minutes.
