measures

How to make

You can flavor the traditional meringues with vanilla or don't use any flavors at all. These are a little different, due to the fact that the vanilla is absent and in its place there is a whole bunch of other flavors. This way your kisses will be unique and very tasty.

To prepare them, there is not much difference from the usual method, which we always use.

Mix the powdered sugar very well with the nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and ginger - they should all in a powder from.

If you sift them through a sieve, it will be even better.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, until a fluffy white mixture is obtained and start adding the aromatic sugar spoon by spoon, while beating at all times.

This will create a thicker and shinier meringue.

Fill the mixture into a piping bag with a smooth tip and pipe out the small kisses in a tray covered with baking paper.

Leave a space between each one.

They should all fit in the large oven tray.

Bake them at 190°F (90°C) for 2 hours and then leave them for 1 hour in the switched off oven.

The most aromatic meringues are wonderful!
