How to make
The cup with which I measured has a capacity of 5 fl oz (150 ml).
In a saucepan, mix the sugar, lemon juice, lemon peels (they can be grated, but I cut them, because I wanted to feel and see them better) and water.
Boil the mixture. Stir to melt the sugar. Leave it to cool slightly. In another pot, heat the butter with the oil.
Add the semolina and fry it, until it aquires a golden color.
Carefully pour the sugar syrup, while stirring, so that it does not form into balls, until it thickens. Towards the end add the vanilla and raisins. Distribute everything in a suitable container, which is lightly greased. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cover the container with a towel and leave it for a few hours to harden.
Serve the semolina halva cut into pieces.
Now you have a very tasty and aromatic semolina halva with lemon and butter.
