Fry the sliced sausage in a pan.
Add the chopped vegetables to the sausage at once.
When they soften, add the tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, sugar and the spices.
After about 3-4 minutes, add the diced potatoes, which should be more chunky.
After two or three minutes, add water - enough to cover the dish.
Place the baking pan in the oven and bake the potatoes at 390°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
Serve hot dish sprinkled with parsley and salad, which is suitable for the season.
