How to make
In a large bowl, combine the soda, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
In another bowl, beat the soft butter and sugar into a cream and in a third, beat the eggs and honey.
Pour the eggs over the dry ingredients and mix everything well. Then add the buttery mixture.
Knead a soft dough and wrap it in cling film. Leave it for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Then roll it out onto a lightly floured surface and cut out the delicious gingerbreads with the help of cookie cutters.
Arrange them in a tray onto baking paper and bake them for about 15 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
Decorate them as desired with white glaze and colored paints.
For the glaze, beat the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and egg whites, until a thick mixture is obtained.
