Ingredients

  • nettles - 10.6 oz (300 g)
  • flour - 6 tbsp.
  • spring onions - 10 stalks
  • garlic - 1 - 2 cloves
  • tomato puree - 4 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • rice - 8.8 oz (250 g)
  • butter - 1.2 oz (35 g)
  • salt - by taste
  • black pepper - by taste
  • milk - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • water - 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)

How to make

Boil the nettles in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove them from the water, clean them from the stems and finely chop the tips and leaves.

Cut the spring onions and garlic and fry them in the oil, until they soften.

Add the nettles and stir for 2-3 minutes.

Add the tomato puree, paprika, black pepper and flour. Stir for a minute or two.

In order to do that, melt the butter with a teaspoon of salt in water in the ratio described on the package, depending on the type of rice you use.

When the water boils, put the washed in advance rice from the starch and boil it for 17-20 minutes.

Once it is ready and it has absorbed the liquid, leave it under the lid for 5-10 minutes.
