How to make

It is a bit unconventional to imagine avocados in a grilled version, but in fact if you try it, you will be surprised how interesting and pleasant it actually is.

For this purpose, choose an avocado that is ripe but not overripe and doesn't easily fall apart.

Peel it, cut it in half lenghtwise, open it up and remove the seed. Cut the four halves into quarters once more.

Roll the avocado pieces in olive oil with a little lime juice and crushed coriander leaves. I don't need to season it further, but you want to you can add other flavors, like spraying it with garlic.

Heat the greased grill pan on a high heat. A little trick to prevent the avocado from sticking is to put a sheet of baking paper on the pan and grease it.

Arrange the pieces of fruit (avocado is a fruit) and grill them briefly on both sides. When the characteristic dark golden streaks form, remove it from the pan.

This light scorching and smoking adds a really great taste.

Sprinkle the grilled avocado with lime juice, more olive oil and Maldon salt.

Serve it as an appetizer or garnish for fish and white meat.

Simple but delicious!
