How to make
The pork ribs can become incredibly tender and delicious with this recipe, without having to work hard and without wasting time.
They are called Barbecue Ribs, not because they are prepared on the barbecue, but because of the sauce that is present in the recipe and is the main protagonist, whose taste dominates.
The most important condition is to choose good and quality meat, a large strip of pork ribs, on which there is fat.
Do not cut the strip into individual ribs, but leave it whole. Rub them with black pepper, paprika and sugar.
Separately mix the barbecue sauce with the pepper puree, brandy, salt, rosemary and other spices. For a more pronounced sweet taste, you can add more brown sugar or a spoonful of quality honey.
Spread the ribs well with this mixture and if you don't have enough, you can always prepare a little more.
Cover them with cling film and refrigerate them for a few hours, or overnight.
When it's time to cook the pork ribs, leave them out of the fridge for 30 minutes to relax and it is important that they are not cold when you put them in the oven.
Put them in a baking pan, pour about 5 fl oz (150 ml) of water on the bottom and wrap the baking pan with aluminum foil.
Bake them at 390°F (200 degrees) for about 1 hour and a half, then remove the foil and bake until they're nicely browned - another 30 minutes.
Keep an eye on them, so that you can add a little water, if needed, especially to avoid unpleasant burns on the bottom of the baking pan.
The baking time should also be controlled depending on the thickness of the ribs and the layer of fat on them.
When you remove them from the oven, wrap them with foil for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve the baked pork ribs with french fries and forget about the diet for at least a day :)
Enjoy your meal!
