How to make
Pour the water, vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard and turmeric in a pot and boil for 4-5 minutes.
Remove it from the heat, allow the mixture to cool briefly.
Cut the gherkins into 4 pieces lengthwise and arrange them in jars, by placing dill stalks between them.
Pour the marinade over them and close the lids.
Once they cool down, store the jars in the refrigerator.
Consume the delicious pickles after 2 days.
Depending on the volume and size of the jars, you get about 2 or 3 jars of these American Sweet and Sour Cucumbers.
