How to make
In bowls, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and beat them with a mixer for 5 minutes until a foamy mixture is obtained.
Add the sugar to the yolks and beat them until a smooth mixture is obtained, about 10 minutes.
Sift the flour with half a teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add the flour to the beaten yolks in portions. Carefully add the beaten egg whites.
Cover the oven tray with a piece of baking paper. Grease it lightly. Pour the sponge cake mixture.
Smooth it out and bake the sponge cake layer at 370°F (190 degrees) for 5-6 minutes. Turn the sponge cake layer onto a towel and roll it up. Leave it to cool completely.
Roll out the prepared sponge cake layer and spread it with the chocolate spread. Cut two pieces of the sweet roll at an angle.
Place them diagonally on the larger piece.
Spread them with chocolate. With a fork, make groovy marks and decorate the Christmas tree to your liking.
