How to make

Knead the minced meat with all of the listed products for the meatballs - balls. Leave it aside for 2 hours.

For the meatball stew, chop the onion and green peppers and stew them in the fat for 10 minutes.

Add the tomato puree and stir for 3-4 minutes, then add the flour and paprika and cook for another 1-2 minutes, while stirring at all times.

Pour about 7.5 cups (1.5 liters) of warm water, season with salt and boil it. In the meantime peel and chop the potatoes. Put them in the dish and boil for 15 minutes. If necessary, add water.

While the potato stew is boiling on the stove, form balls from the minced meat, which are larger than the size of a walnut.

Here you have the choice to either put them directly in the dish or fry them in advance until they aquire a golden brown color, over high heat, just enough to form an appetizing crust.

When they are ready, put them in the stew and boil for another 10-15 minutes.

Serve the prepared stew with minced meat and rice meatballs warm with quality homemade bread and hot peppers or salad.

Enjoy your meal!
