"Everyone knows how to eat brawn, but can you make such a delicious jelly brawn from pork legs like ours?"

Ingredients

  • pork legs - 2 pcs.
  • pork - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • onion - 1/2 onion
  • celery - 1/4 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 5 - 6 cloves
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • curry - 1/2 tsp.
  • turmeric - 1/2 tsp.
  • dried parsley - 1 tsp.
  • water - 8 cups (2 liters)

How to make

Wash pork legs and pork meat. Cut the meat into pieces.

Put it in a pot along with the legs and pour the water. Put the pot on the heated hob and boil for about 3 hours.

Finely chop the onion, carrot and celery and add them to the meat and legs.

Add turmeric, curry powder, dried parsley and salt and boil for another hour.

Remove the pot from the heat, remove the meat and distribute it into bowls.

Debone the legs and cut the skins into pieces, then put a little of them in each bowl. They will further contribute to the brawn jelly.

Sprinkle with finely chopped garlic and pour the broth into each bowl.

Leave them in a cold place for a few hours to set and turn into jelly brawn.
