Ingredients

  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • flour - 4.8 oz (135 g)
  • baking powder - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • ricotta - 8.5 oz (240 g)
  • oranges - 1 pc.
  • oil - as much as it is needed
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Place the ricotta in a deeper bowl, add the egg, sugar and grated orange peel and beat everything well.

Gradually, add sifted flour along with the baking powder and then knead the dough.

Roll balls of dough with floured hands.

Fry the donuts in a large amount of heated oil in a pan, then place them onto paper towels.

Sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve them warm.

The ricotta donuts are ready.
