Ingredients

  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • brown sugar - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • bananas - 2 pcs. (well ripened)
  • einkorn flour - 6.4 oz (180 g) wholemeal
  • soft butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • milk - 4 1/3 tbsp (65 ml)
  • vanilla - 1 pc.
  • honey - 1 tbsp.
  • lemon juice

How to make

The result is a juicy and very tasty sponge cake, which is also easy to prepare.

Mash the well-ripened bananas along with the citrus juice and soda.

Beat the softened butter with the brown sugar. Once a fluffy light mixture is obtained, beat the egg and continue beating.

Add the mashed bananas, flour, vanilla and milk and beat thoroughly.

Grease and knead a terrine form and pour the resulting thick cake batter inside.

Flatten it out with a spatula.

Bake the sponge cake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175 degrees) until it's fully baked. Leave it to cool on a wire rack, cut it and serve it.
