Ingredients

  • ginger root (1 x 0.5 cm)
  • water - 1 cup
  • honey - 1 tsp.
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
measures

How to make

The water is boiled. While it is boiling, peel the ginger and cut it into pieces (the smaller the better; it can even be grated). When the water boils, put the ginger in it and reduce the heat. Boil it for 15 minutes. During this time, squeeze the lemon juice.

After 15 minutes, remove the ginger from the water with a slotted spoon and add the lemon juice. Strain everything into a glass and add the honey. It is consumed warm, almost hot. If you recently felt your throat getting sore, it should be fine after the second cup of tea.

Note: If you don't like the taste of ginger, you can steam it for only 10 minutes or add less ginger or a little more honey (a little more, not too much), but it is still a medicine and the taste of ginger should be felt, otherwise it will not work.
