How to make
Clean the turbot from the entrails, wash and dry it. Drizzle it with olive oil and season the fish with salt.
Turn on the grill and when it is ready, brush the metal grid and put the turbot on the dark side to bake for 12 minutes. Turn it over on the light side for another 9-10 minutes and it is ready.
The grilling time depends on the weight of the fish, so if your turbot is bigger, grill it a little longer and vice versa - if it is smaller, shorten the time.
In any case, you will know when the grilled fish is ready - as soon as it gets the typical dark marks on the skin, which are the traces of the grill.
For larger turbots, a depth cut is made after turning them. You will known when it is ready, once the liquid evaporates from the slits. This trick also applies when we cook this type of fish in the oven.
Serve the delicious and tender whole grilled turbot with a fresh salad and slices of lemon.
Enjoy your meal!
