How to make
Cooking in salt is one of the oldest methods used to this day.
In addition to fish and even meat, you can prepare wonderful prawns in the same way.
Carabineros are a type of large prawns with a deep red color when fresh and they retain their color after heat treatment. They're a great product that you, should not hesitate to try and offer to your guests if you want to impress them.
They can be cooked in many ways, but in the oven, using the salt method, you would save yourself time and unnecessarily wasted time.
You just need to cover the bottom of the baking pan with coarse sea salt, arrange the carabineros on top and cover them with more salt.
Put them in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degrees) and after 10-15 minutes (10 for medium-sized ones and 15 for very large ones) are ready.
Clean them from the salt and serve the oven-baked prawns.
You can also serve them as they are, in the baking pan, but remove the salt at the edges to uncover all of these great prawns.
Be sure to garnish them with lemon slices and consume them before they cool down.
Enjoy your meal!
