How to make
Heat a pan with a drizzle of olive oil and sear both sides of the pork steaks. Set aside and season with salt and pepper.
Arrange half of the seared stakes at the bottom of a clay pot. Place half of the cleaned and chopped onion, carrots and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and add the remaining steaks.
Add the second half of your vegetables on top, as well as, the roasted peppers whole. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour in the juices from the pan and the white wine, cover the clay pot and place it in a cold oven.
Bake at 430°F (220 degrees) for about 30 minutes and reduce the temperature to 360°F (180 degrees) for at least one hour.
Remove the lid once the meat is cooked and sprinkle with grated yellow cheese.
Bake until the cheese melts.
The tender pork steaks are ready.
