How to make
Dissolve the marmalade in the water and add walnuts, raisins and pre-rolled in flour figs, cinnamon, baking soda, orange zest from a jam and sugar and beat everything with the flour.
Pour the finished mixture into a greased and floured tray and put it to bake in heated oven at 390°F (200 °C). Cut the baked treat into small fruit cakes and sprinkle with powdered sugar or glaze as desired.
