Ingredients

  • powdered sugar - 3.2 oz (90 g)
  • strawberries - 9 oz (250 g) cleaned and frozen in pieces
  • blueberries - 3.5 oz (100 g) frozen
  • melon - 3.5 oz (100 g) frozen pieces
  • peaches - 2.8 oz (80 g) frozen pieces
  • yogurt - 4.6 oz (130 g) thick, full - fat or strained

How to make

To make this quick ice cream, you will need a grinding machine such as a nutri blender, a food processor with such function, a thermomix or a simple blender that is powerful enough.

I always have frozen fruit in the freezer, that are leftovers from making cakes. If you do not have some, freeze them from the day before in the amounts specified in the recipe, but you can change the proportions, because they are not mandatory. For example, if you have more peaches, cut down on the strawberries, or if you do not want to add melon, replace it with mango or raspberries, etc.

For me, this combination in these proportions is great, but with others it will not be bad either.

Put the sugar in the appliance and add the pieces of fruit. If there are larger ones, cut them with a knife, which it's easy because frozen fruit are not that hard.

Blend them on medium speed for less than a minute, add the yogurt and blend them for a while longer to mix everything perfectly.

Immediately pour the quick and easy fruit ice cream into cups or bowls and serve it.

You can also store fruit ice cream in the freezer for later use.
