Ingredients

  • brown sugar - 1 lb (450 g)
  • oranges - 1 pc.
  • red wine - 3 and 1/3 cups (750 ml)
  • raspberries - 1.5 lb (700 g)
  • orange liqueur - 5 tbsp.

How to make

Put the fruit in a large bowl and mash them with a wooden spoon. Add 3 tablespoons of wine. Grate the orange peel and add it to this mixture.

Cover it with a lid and leave it in the refrigerator for 3 days. Then strain it through a fine sieve into a large pot. Add the sugar and the rest of the wine.

Heat the mixture over low heat until it boils, while stirring at all times. Add the orange liqueur and remove it from the heat. Distribute it into bottles and close them.

In a week the liqueur is ready. It can be stored in dry and cool place for up to 3 months.
