How to make
Wash the chicken, cut it into portions, cover it in water and boil it and in the meantime make sure to remove any foam that starts to form. Keep the broth that you boiled the chicken in.
In another pot, in oil and a little of the broth (1/2 cup), stew the finely chopped onions, the peeled and chopped carrots and the cleaned and sliced peppers.
Season with as much black pepper and ground savory herb as you like. Add the strained canned peas.
Season with paprika and sprinkle a bit of flour (1-2 tsp). Stir and add the broth from the boiled chicken (2 cups).
Let the stew boil (you can add more broth, if necessary, or warm water) and when the sauce thickens, add the cooked chicken. Boil the cooked chicken for a few more minutes and serve the stew warm.
