"Homemade cake for guests and relatives - everyone loves it"

Ingredients

  • yogurt - 2 cups (400 g)
  • baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 10 oz (300 g)
  • flour - 3 cups
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • strawberry jam - 2 cups (or another fruit jam of your choice)
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Put the yogurt in a bowl and add a teaspoon of baking soda to it and wait a minute for it to foam up.

Add sugar and a pinch of salt to the yoghurt and stir the mixture with a spoon. Then pour the flour and stir again with a spoon until a you have a smooth mixture.

Pour half of the mixture into a baking pan lined with baking paper and place it in an oven at 180 degrees. Bake the mixture for our strawberry jam cake until it's ready.

Remove the baked cake from the oven and quickly spread it with jam, then spread the remaining mixture on top. Bake the gorgeous homemade cake only on the top rack.

Leave the finished jam cake to cool.

Sprinkle the homemade cake with powdered sugar and serve it to your relatives and guests.
