"Spaghetti with Amatriciana Sauce - temptingly delicious and irresistibly fragrant"

Ingredients

  • spaghetti - 1 package
  • bacon - 1.1 oz (500 g)
  • onions - 3 onions
  • tomato puree - 2 and 1/2 cups (500 ml)
  • basil - 2 - 3 tsp.
  • oregano - 2 tsp.
  • salt - by taste
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp (50 ml)

How to make

Boil the spaghetti in boiling salted water, then strain them and leave them to cool.

Cut the bacon and onion into strips and fry them in hot olive oil. When they are ready, add the tomato puree and let it simmer.

After a few minutes, season the sauce with the spices and remove it from the heat.

In a serving plate, place the spaghetti and add a little sauce on them.

If desired, you can sprinkle them with Parmesan cheese.
