  • macaroni - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • butter - 3 tbsp.
  • tomatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • white cheese - 1 cup (grated)
  • yellow cheese - about 7 oz (200 g) per sprinkling
  • butter - 5 tbsp.

How to make

Boil the macaroni in salted water, then rinse them under cold, strain them and pour them 3 tbsp. of fried hot butter.

Clean, peel and cut the tomatoes and rub them through a sieve, add them to the macaroni along with the grated white cheese.

Transfer the stirred mixture into a greased bakingpan. Sprinkle the top of the dish with more crumbled white cheese or grated yellow cheese. At the end pour 5 tbsp. of melted butter and put the macaroni in the oven to bake until they're done.

You can serve the oven-baked macaroni with a suitable salad.
