"Today we are in the mood for something more exotic, so we will try this avocado hummus"

Ingredients

  • avocado - 2 pcs. (finely chopped)
  • tahini - 2 tbsp.
  • chickpeas - 2 tins
  • garlic - 2 cloves (crushed)
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - 1/2 cup
  • paprika
  • bread - Arabic bread
  • salt

How to make

Heat olive oil in a pan, add 1/4 cup of chickpeas. Saute them for 3-4 minutes until they aquire a golden brown color. Remove them from the heat and allow them to cool.

Put the remaining chickpeas in a blender and the avocado, tahini, lemon juice and garlic and blend them until you have a smooth mixture.

Season it with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle the hummus with extra chickpeas, olive oil from the pan and paprika.

Serve it with Arabic bread and meat skewers.
