"A special dip for those who are strictly vegan"

Ingredients

  • artichoke - 7 oz (200 g) canned cores
  • red peppers - 1 pc. (roasted and peeled)
  • garlic - 1 clove (large)
  • dried tomatoes - 1 oz (30 g)
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - from 1/4 lemon
  • salt - 1 level top tsp. (or by taste)
  • cayenne pepper - 1 pinch

How to make

Soak the dried tomatoes in water to hydrate them. You can also use canned ones that are ready for direct consumption.

Chop the garlic into small pieces.

Put all the dip products into the jug of a blender or food processor and blend them for about 2 minutes on medium speed.

Good results are also achieved with an ordinary blender.

Season the resulting paste with more salt or spices of your choice. Suitable ones are oregano and basil.
