Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • red onion - 1 onion
  • bacon - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • salt - by taste
  • black pepper - by taste

How to make

The potatoes are boiled. After they have cooled down, peel them and cut them into cubes.

The onions are cut into crescents and the bacon into juliennes. In a pan with heated oil put the chopped onion and bacon to fry and stir them, so that they do not burn.

Add the spices. Once they are well fried and the onions soften, remove them from the heat. Pour them into a bowl.

In a deep fryer, fry the potatoes only until they aquire a golden brown color and add them into the bowl. Mix everything well.

Serve them warm with cold beer.
