Ingredients

  • chicken livers - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • peppers - 2 pcs.
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g)
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • savory herb
  • For the topping
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • yogurt - 1 pc.
  • flour - 3 tbsp.

How to make

Cut the onion into slices and place it on the bottom of a baking pan, sprinkle the onion with salt, black pepper and savory herb.

Place the chicken livers on top of the onions and sprinkle them with the spices. Add the carrots and peppers, cut into cubes and the mushrooms into slices.

Add oil and stir, bake at 390°F (200ºC) until they crisp up.

Add the filling and bake until the moussaka is ready, at the same temperature.
