"Tasty Spaghetti Bolognese - your kids will love it!"

Ingredients

  • minced beef - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cherry tomatoes - 9 oz (250 g)
  • onions - 1/2 pc small
  • carrots - 1/2 medium sized
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • fresh basil - 1 tbsp chopped
  • warm water - 1 cup
  • spaghetti - 2.5 oz (70 g)
  • yellow cheese - to sprinkle on top

How to make

Peel and wash the carrot and onion. Chop them finely. Heat the oil in a small pot at moderate temperatre. Saute the onion and carrot and add a little water. Cook for about 5 minutes until they soften.

Add the mince and press it with a spatula to achieve a crumbly texture. Cook for approximately 15 minutes.

In the meantime shred the cherry tomatoes. Add them to the mince and stir well.

Pour in the water, and basil and stir. Cover with a lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Break the spaghetti into small pieces and grate the cheese.

Add the spaghetti to the sauce and stir again. If the water has evaporated you can add a little more, since the spaghetti is raw and needs liquid to cook in the tomato sauce.

Cook the pasta according to the instructions (approximately 10minutes)

Sprinkle the Bolognese for Kids with cheese and serve.
