Ingredients

  • feta cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • greek yogurt - 1 cup (200 g)
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • olive oil - 3 and 1/3 tbsp. (50 g)
  • chilli peppers - 1 pc. red
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • parsley - one bunch
  • baguettes - 1 pc.

How to make

Chop the garlic cloves finely. Drizzle with the olive oil, sprinkle with salt and press them with the flat part of your knife, until they turn into a paste.

Chop the chilli pepper finely as well. Mix the crumbled Feta cheese and yogurt in a bowl.

Season with chilli powder, and a pinch of salt. Add the garlic paste, chilli pepper, and finely chopped parsley.

Slice the baguette and rub the slices on the chopping board, so they can absorb the garlicky flavour.

Grill them for 2-3 minutes, until they turn golden brown.

Serve the Tirokafteri spread with the toasted bread.
