"Panettones are extremely delicious when theyre soft and fresh but even more so when made into a caramel cake, dont you think?"

Ingredients

  • panettone - 2, 14 oz (400 g) each
  • fruits - from a jam
  • turkish delight - 5 oz (140 g)
  • walnuts - 1 cup
  • eggs - 4
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • vanilla - 1
  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • chocolate sprinkles

How to make

Cut the panettones into slices with a thickness of 1 1/4″ (3 cm). In a cake form, caramelize 2-3 tablespoons sugar.

Arrange a layer of panettone, place fruits from a jam on top - apricots, quinces, strawberries. Arrange a second layer of panettone and on top: the chopped into pieces Turkish delight and chopped walnuts; you must finish off with panettone slices.

Pour on a mixture of eggs, sugar, vanilla and milk. Bake in a water bath in a moderate oven at 360°F (180 °C). Once cool, carefully invert it onto a cake plate and sprinkle it with chocolate sprinkles.

Eat the cake well cooled!
